VISA Information and Invitation Requests

Prior to traveling to Japan for the WCVA 2015, please review the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan website http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/short/novisa.html to clarify your Visa requirements. The Conference Organizers recommend that if required, you apply for a visa as early as possible (at least 3 months before the visa is needed).

The WCVA 2015 Conference secretariat would be pleased to provide letters of invitation to the applicants registered for the WCVA 2015 Conference to assist in their visa applications for travel to Japan. In order to be issued an invitation letter, the participant must complete the registration and payment for the Conference.

Please note that while the letter will be an official invitation, applicants are responsible for making the application for a visa by the person to whom the invitation letter is addressed, and directly to the appropriate Japanese Embassy. The Conference Secretariat will not apply for a visa on your behalf. For details, please contact the nearest Japanese consulate or embassy or visit the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs website at: http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/index.html for details on visa application procedures. Once your registration is complete, please download and fill out a separate VISA Questionnaire form and a Schedule of Stay form from below for each person requesting a letter and send it to the Conference Secretariat at wcva_2015@nta.co.jp
